Look at all those stats. They can't possibly all have a purpose, right?
El Wrong-o. Hence, this guide.

First of all, at the top of the pic there, the red bar is your HP. If this goes to zero, you die. (Exception, if you use a Mystery Pot and your HP is lowered to zero, you don't die. However, if a monster hits you, even for zero, you will.) Replenishes over time.

The blue bar to the right of your HP is Mana. Mana is used in casting magic. If this goes to zero, you can't use your spells. Replenishes over time.

Underneath your HP and Mana is your Stamina. Stamina is used each time you attack. If your Stamina goes to zero, you will become less accurate, and do less damage. Replenishes over time.

Gold, Level, Exp and Exp Needed To Level are pretty straight forward.

Karma. While this isn't active yet, Karma will be quite neat once implemented. As in real life, Karma can be both good and bad. If you do bad things, your Karma goes down, and bad things happen to you. If you do good things, your Karma goes up, and good things happen to you.

STR, or Strength determines how much damage you do, per hit, with melee weapons. Also, it determines how much weight you can carry without becoming "overweight".

END, or Endurance determines how quickly your HP, Mana and Stamina replenish.

DEX, or Dexterity determines how much damage you do, per arrow, for archers.

SPD, or Speed determines how quickly you walk.

INT, or Intelligence is required to learn scrolls and to use enchanted weapons.

MAG, or Magic determines how much damage you do, per spell, with magic attacks.

The bulbs below magic are the HP, Mana and Stamina again.

The list spell effects button will display all abnormal effects magic spells are causing your character and how much time remains until their effects expire.

Focus Points are used to raise your stats and attributes. You get nine every time you reach a new level. Use them by clicking the, uh, bubbly looking things to the left of each stat or attribute.

Skill Points are used to purchase and learn new skills. You are awarded a Skill Point at levels 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 75 and 100.
